Safe Removal of Outdated Tanks

The existing storage tanks were decommissioned and safely removed, with degassing, cleaning, lifting and disposal coordinated to protect the site, the forecourt and the surrounding environment throughout the process.

Double-Walled Tank Installation

New high-capacity double-walled tanks were installed for enhanced protection, with tank pit preparation, bedding, anchoring, backfill and reinstatement coordinated around the station’s operating requirements.

Safety and Compliance Checks

Safety and compliance checks were carried out through each stage of the works, covering excavation, hot-work controls, PPE requirements, site access and the industry regulations applicable to fuel storage installations.

Advanced Leak Detection Systems

Advanced leak detection was integrated with the new tanks and product lines, reducing environmental risk and giving the site continuous monitoring of the upgraded fuel storage installation.

Final Regulatory Inspections

Final regulatory inspections were coordinated with the relevant authorities and the client, with documentation prepared so the upgraded installation could be signed off against the required standards.
